Walking Through the Valley of Darkness
Experience the night of total desolation, aloneness, humiliation. The racial injustice of lynching, incarceration.
Tenth Station: Jesus’ Clothes are Taken Away
Eleventh Station: Jesus is Nailed to the Cross
Twelfth Station: Jesus Dies on the Cross
The Catholic Anti-Racism Project (CARP) has created a new booklet for the 2021 Lenten season. It sets out seven weeks of prayers to recognize and counter personal and systemic racial injustice. Each week focuses on several Stations of the Cross and offers a reflection, commentary, and resources to enrich the Examen.
Join us every Monday during Lent @ 7pm via Zoom to pray and share this experience together.

ABOUT
The Catholic Anti-Racism Project (CARP) is comprised of members from three NYC Catholic parishishes—St. Francis de Sales, St. Charles Borromeo/Resurrection/All Saints, and St. Francis Xavier—with funding provided by Catholic Charities of NY. This is a new initiative formed in 2020 to address the history of anti-racism within the Church and to document the experiences of African-American Catholics.
