A Virtual Weal Gathering—Organized by Commonweal Magazine

These extraordinary times would be overwhelming even if we had the comfort to gather in our churches or our local communities with friends and family.

During this difficult time, the Weal in Chicago and Catholic Theological Union’s Bernardin Center would like to invite you, our fellow weal friends from across the nation, to gather in a virtual community as A People of Hope.

This Monday, March 30 at 7:30 pm EDT/6:30 pm CDT and on subsequent Mondays, the weal will offer online Commonweal Conversations hosted by The Bernardin Center, where we will have opportunities to discuss timely, relevant topics through the Conversation Starter Series and welcome guest speakers from Commonweal, such as writers and editors.

On Monday, we will be diving into a discussion on Nationalism and Labor, led by Chicago weal member Trey Cobb.
