Traditionally, the feast of Candlemas in the Hispanic community is celebrated by the blessing of candles and statues of the infant Jesus. So bring your candles and figure of the baby Jesus to be blessed at our Spanish Mass, followed by a social in the Parish Hall. We will have Mariachi music compliments of the students from Escuela de Mariachi Angeles de New York plus dance compliments of Grupo Yaocihuatl "Mujer Guerrera (Woman Warrior)—and lots of tamles to share!
