WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES THE SECOND VATICAN COUNCIL MAKE IN YOUR LIFE?
The Second Vatican Council was the most significant event that occurred in the Church in the last one thousand years. The Council has made a monumental difference on how we are called to live in the world by immersing ourselves in the issues of our times, the way we relate to one another and how we embrace all religious traditions . The Council was on the "back burner" for the past 40 years. When Pope Francis was elected on March 13, 2013 , he brought us back to the vision of the Council. He challenged us not to be afraid of change and not to resist the Holy Spirit who spoke to us through the Council. Let's get together to talk about how we can embrace the Council as the way of bringing new life and energy to Church , our personal lives and our parish community.
